There’s nothing like waking up in a new country for the first time. And when you add a snow covered city to that - it becomes extra special. Good Morning Berlin!
Today I would be visiting the Berlin Wall. It’s been 25 years since the Wall came down and Germany reunited.

After this I headed further into the city to soak up the festive Christmas vibe that was still in the air. I came across a Christmas market selling a mixture of crafts, food, and gifts.
Everywhere I looked I saw people eating sausages. The popular choices seemed to be between sausage, kale and new potatoes… and currywurst (sausages with curry sauce).
I think for sausages to be real sausages, they have to a high meat content. These sausages I tasted were waxy and salty… not my cup of tea.!
(My favourite drink from Berlin - gluhwein with rum!)
After food I headed further into the City and I stumbled upon Cassiopeia – a skate park and night club housed in a former train depot. It was a playground for alternative clubbers and live music. It had a relaxed beer garden, an open-air cinema, and a climbing wall.
I grabbed a few pics for you…
